Summertime and the SHOPPING is easy!

My husband and I try to get back to the states at least once a year for about a month to see friends and family.  We house swap with this lovely couple that have family on our island and they’re from our hometown (Kansas City) so it works out well for both of us.  While I’m back, one of my imperatives is to scope out fabric for both my resort wear line but also for my budding home goods line.  It has always been my intent to make the home goods line–unique, pretty with just a touch of island and whimsy.  Every time, I find fabrics that I think hit all those marks, they most certainly come home with me.  Yesterday I was scooping up some lovely, lovely, lovely fabrics for some outdoor pillows and poufs that will compliment a number of decors (don’t you think?).  Island Contessa is meant to give you the feel and look of the islands without making you feel like a kitschy tourist.  So far, from the response we’ve gotten, I think we’ve succeeded.  If you haven’t checked out our one of kind home good lines from pillows to poufs to table linens; I just have to ask you one question.  What are you waiting for?  Go.
