Private vs. Personal
So when I began building Island Contessa, I was told that my fashions were beautiful, the designs unique and people would love the line. All of that has proven to be true and I’m grateful for that. What I was also told with some consistency is that my story, my personal story added a great deal to the allure of Island Contessa. I wasn’t quite convinced that people were interested in hearing about my life, but I’ve recently been persuaded otherwise. Apparently an ex-banker, who is also a writer/poet, originally from the Midwest, who spent the last 9 years in NY and picks up and moves to a Caribbean Island and start an apparel line, is unique. So, you are going to start hearing and seeing more about me and my life and how it impacts and enhances this wonderful business that I’ve started. I hope you will enjoy it. I hope it will encourage to make the most of your life and set out on your own personal adventure. Come along with me on this ride and Carpe Diem!
