Fashioning for a body type

Are these women beautiful or what?  You wouldn’t know it by looking at them but not one is a professional model.  Hard to believe, right?  I’m blessed that these women are all friends of mine.  They range in age, dress size, ethnicity and laughter (laughter is DEFINITELY a category for me).  When I asked them to be models for me, to a person, they all said ‘yes’ almost instantly.  We made it a day of fun.  I had each of their outfits bundled and labeled and as they unpacked their individual wardrobes, they all looked at me in astonishment and said, ‘how did you know this would fit me?’  Well, first of all, I explained, it is kind of what I do for a living but also, I knew their personalities and knew, even if they didn’t, what would look good on them.  Every single woman that wears my clothes, can wear pretty much everything in the line.  I love brilliant colors, bold patterns and amazing fabrics.  I want you to look as beautiful as you can be and I want to challenge you to try things you might not otherwise try.   Don’t fall for that ‘you can’t wear prints if you’re big or old or short’ or whatever the adjective is.  Be a risk taker.  Wear what feels good to you.  And, as with all things, a smile is always the best accessory.  Oh and laughter. Don’t forget that!
